Audacity | audio editing and recording software | Technical details | Audacity is recommended for podcasts and other voice recordings. The noise reduction filter under "Effects" is a great way to minimize background noise in your recording. |
GarageBand | Digital Audio Workstation for editing, recording, mixing and mastering audio files, also useful for recording podcasts | Technical details | Most musical instruments can be connected to this software through the available recording equipment in the room (see Recording Equipment). |
Finale 25 | music notation software | Technical details | Finale 25 can be connected to the clavinova and other MIDI keyboards in the room (see Piano, Keyboards & MIDI Controllers). |
Rekordbox | DJ software for preparing and managing music files | Technical details | Rekordbox is used to prepare and manage music files for the Pioneer DJ System (see Recording Equipment). |
